About
About this site
A directory and a daily journal for one building at 190 Middle Road.
Fortune Centre opened in 1980 as a mixed commercial development: four levels of shops and food on a podium, car parking above that, and office floors running up to Level 20. Over four decades it became known for something nobody planned — the densest concentration of vegetarian restaurants in Singapore, drawn by the temple next door, sitting alongside Buddhist artifact dealers, feng shui consultants, and a large and quietly durable cluster of accounting practices.
All strata units in the building have been sold. This site is no longer a sales site. It exists now to answer the question people actually arrive with: what is in this building, and where.
On accuracy
Tenancies change. Every listing here carries a level, a unit number and, where we have one, a phone number — but a small building like this turns over faster than any directory can. If something is wrong or gone, tell us and we will fix it.
We are not the managing agent and not affiliated with the MCST. For building management matters, the management office is on Level 7.
The journal
We publish regularly about the building and its tenants, and increasingly about the wider Bugis and Rochor commercial market. Subscribe by RSS.
