Getting to Fortune Centre
190 Middle Road, at the junction with Bencoolen Street, directly beside Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple.
By MRT
Five stations sit within roughly 700m, which is unusual even for this part of town.
- Bencoolen (DT21) — approx. 300m. The closest. Exit B, then about four minutes up Middle Road
- Rochor (DT13) — approx. 500m
- Bras Basah (CC2) — approx. 500m
- Bugis (EW12 / DT14) — approx. 600m. Use this one coming from the east or west
- Dhoby Ghaut (NS24 / NE6 / CC1) — approx. 700m
By bus
The nearest stops are Middle Road before Waterloo Street and Middle Road after Waterloo Street, each around two minutes on foot.
By car
There are 290 lots inside the building, on Levels 5, 6 and 8, entered from Middle Road. Season parking runs around $142.60 a month and is arranged through the management office on Level 7.
Weekends are difficult — the temple next door draws heavy foot traffic and the car park fills early. Drop-offs work best directly in front along Middle Road. Roughly ten minutes' drive to Orchard Road and to the CBD.
Finding your way inside
The podium is confusing on a first visit. Escalators run from Level 1 up to Level 4 and cover the shops and food. Lifts serve the office floors from 9 up to 20. If you enter from Waterloo Street you arrive on Level 3 and need to walk through to reach the escalators.
Opening hours
Most food units open between 9am and 11am and close by 8 or 9pm. Offices keep standard weekday hours. Individual hours vary a lot — check the directory and call ahead.
