Level 2: cafés, salons and the escalator ring
The floor that rewards a slow lap. Dessert counters and cafés face the escalator; salons, a dental surgery and the first TCM halls sit behind.
Level 2 is arranged as a ring. The escalator lands in the middle, food and dessert face inward where the traffic is, and the service businesses occupy the outer corridor where rents are lower and nobody is browsing.
Facing the escalator
Yat Ka Yan (#02-08) is the busiest single unit on the floor — a dessert shop with a queue that looks alarming and moves fast. Chendol, cheng teng, mango sago. They run a seating overflow at #02-09 and a shared area at #02-10.
Ume San 100 (#02-07) is the building's most unexpected tenant: an umeshu bar and izakaya with well over a thousand reviews, doing ramen and chirashi at lunch and cocktails at night. Tsumiki (#02-02) is a Japanese bakery, takeaway only, open only Wednesday to Saturday afternoons — sourdough, shokupan, madeleines.
Baoer Cafe (#02-06), Pine Tree Cafe (#02-13/21) and La Teh Cafe (#02-18A) cover the coffee-and-rice-bowl end. En Seeds (#02-03) does build- your-own healthy bowls. Solemi (#02-05), Kiro-San (#02-12) and Koryori Hayashi (#02-14) are the sit-down restaurants; Hayashi in particular is a proper small Japanese kitchen behind noren curtains that most people walk straight past.
Hangawi Korean Food (#02-18) is cheap, generous and crowded after 7pm. Madness Nasi Lemak (#02-25A), A9 Noodle Dumpling (#02-26), Moon Chay Vegetarian (#02-27/28) and Diner's Shack (#02-31), which does fish soup and curry chicken and nothing else, complete the loop.
The outer corridor
Spakks Hair Studio (#02-02) and Bellco Beauty House (#02-32) handle hair and facials. Le Queenz (#02-11) does facials by appointment. Snail Art (#02-20) is the gel nail specialist. Health Fit Massage Therapy (#02-24) has been running deep tissue and foot reflexology here for over a decade — book ahead, it is usually full.

Hong Thai Buddhist Artifacts (#02-16) deals in Thai amulets and is regarded by collectors as more serious than the general-purpose shops. Far Eastern Furnishing (#02-19) and Jaspat International (#02-20) are the trading businesses. Brahma Cultural & Arts Centre (#02-29) and Li Lianxing Chinese Physician (#02-30) sit at the quiet end, with Bao Chun Tang TCM (#02-33).
