The Buddhist artifact and feng shui shops of Fortune Centre

Statuary, Thai amulets, crystals, incense and consultations — clustered around a temple, and spread across all four podium levels.

The temple next door is the reason this trade exists here. Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho draws worshippers all day, every day, and the building beside it has spent forty years serving them.

Statuary and artifacts

Delin Buddhist Artifacts Center (#01-36) is the largest of the Level 1 shops, carrying statues, altar goods and ritual items. Hong Thai Buddhist Artifacts (#02-16) specialises in Thai amulets and bucha, and collectors treat it as more serious than the general shops — the owner is frequently named in reviews for depth of knowledge.

Zhao Buddha Gallery (#03-06B) and Na Tong (#03-28B) handle statuary on Level 3. Free Buddhist Book Amituofo (#04-20A) on Level 4 distributes sutras at no charge.

Crystals

Kush Crystals by Kushinagara (#01-04) is the long-established name, trading here well over fifteen years, and stocks bioresonance products alongside stones.

Yu Zhu Gallery (#04-18) on Level 4 has the strongest reputation of the crystal shops — reviewers repeatedly mention being allowed to try on freely, having bracelets restrung on the spot, and not being rushed.

The Lucky Shop (#01-28) has the widest range and the most divided reviews. Han Yu Xuan (#01-22), Shinda (#01-29) and Rong Xuan (#01-30) cover jade, bangles and fortune goods.

Incense and scent

Scent Palace (#03-25) and Dzambala Scent (#03-31) sit on Level 3.

Consultation

Yuan Zhong Siu operates from two locations in the building — a retail and consultation space at #01-35 and a larger office at #18-03/04. They do feng shui audits, bazi and aura readings, and sell crystal pieces alongside.

Sri Krishna Astrology (#03-07A) does Vedic readings on Level 3. Brahma Cultural & Arts Centre (#02-29) is on Level 2.

Buying here

A few things regulars know. Bracelet restringing and resizing is usually free or near-free where you bought the piece. Prices vary widely between shops for similar-looking stones — walk the building before committing. And several of these shops close earlier than the food units, typically 6 to 7pm.
