What's open early, late and on Sundays at Fortune Centre
The building's hours are less uniform than they look. A guide to the 7am openings, the late kitchens and the units that close midweek.
Fortune Centre's posted building hours are roughly 9am to 9pm. Individual units pay very little attention to that.
Before 9am
Su Shi Piao Xiang (#01-01) opens at 7am, earliest in the building. Vegetarian cai fan from breakfast.
La Teh Cafe (#02-18A) also opens at 7am on weekdays, 8am Sundays. Killiney (#01-26) opens 7.30am. Mama Patisserie (#01-34) and Ya Kun (#01-09) are going by 8am.
If you want coffee and toast before work, Level 1 and the Level 2 escalator ring are where to go.
Late
Cookie & Coffee Bar (#01-28B) runs to 10pm daily, latest of the food units. Yat Ka Yan (#02-08) also goes to 10pm.
Ume San 100 (#02-07) closes at 10pm Monday to Thursday and 11pm Friday and Saturday — the latest anything is open here. Izakaya Hikari (#03-01) runs to 10.30pm but is closed Sundays.
Shande TCM (#03-33B/34) takes appointments until 9pm on weekdays, unusual for a clinic.
Closed on Sundays
Worth knowing before you make the trip: Izakaya Hikari, Diner's Shack (#02-31), Bellco Beauty House (#02-32), Just Youth Lashes (#03-17), Jackie Beauty and Hairstyling (#03-18), Snail Art (#02-20) and essentially all of the office floors.
Closed midweek
This is the one that catches people out. Several units close on a weekday rather than a weekend.
Tsumiki (#02-02) opens only Wednesday to Saturday afternoons. Pasta & Co. (#02-17) is closed Monday and Tuesday. The TCM Folks (#03-24) is closed Monday and Wednesday. Guang Zhou Pang Jin (#04-01) is closed Wednesdays. Little Pandan Nasi Lemak (#04-15B) is closed Tuesdays. Green Bliss Habitat (#02-01) is closed Thursdays. New Green Pasture Cafe (#04-22) is closed Mondays. Yat Ka Yan (#02-08) is closed Tuesdays. Little Nonya's Cookies (#04-10) is closed Sundays.
When it is busiest
Weekday lunch, 11.45am to 1.15pm, is genuinely crowded on Levels 1 and 2. Weekends are busier still because of the temple, and the car park fills early.
The quiet windows are weekday mid-afternoon, roughly 2 to 5pm, and the first hour after opening.
Hours change and this is a snapshot, not a guarantee. Phone numbers are on the directory listings — for the small owner-run units, a call or a WhatsApp message is far more reliable than any published schedule.
